Katie Kilby - Founder & Chief Visionary

The daughter, sister, and granddaughter to veterans, Katie served in "The Real Corps" from 2008-2011 as a United States Peace Corps Volunteer in Bulgaria. Upon her return home, Katie threw a dart at a map, landed in Baltimore, met her Marine Husband, and fell in love with the grit and resiliency of this city.

After nearly a decade in the nonprofit space and almost 8 years laser focused on the veteran landscape, Katie is eager to be laying the groundwork to bring her dream to reality. Someday soon, Reveille Grounds will exist as a brick and mortar space where local military connected individuals can find their mission and purpose surrounded by like-minded community.

Katie is also currently serving as the Central Maryland Program Manager for ServingTogether, a program of EveryMind!

Advisors & Mentors

"If I have seen further than others, it is by standing upon the shoulders of giants." Isaac Newton

Reveille Grounds is committed to leveraging the assets and gifts of others to bring this vision to reality. Instead of going forth alone, we plan to create a forum where we can highlight the missions of those who execute them well. In this pursuit, we're "standing on the shoulders of giants" and learning wherever and whenever we can!

Joe Giordano

Founder and CEO of Project Opportunity

Joe developed Project Opportunity, a free entrepreneurship training program for veterans, active duty, and reserve personnel who wish to start a small business or expand their current small business as an alternative to traditional employment and in response to the high unemployment rate among the veteran population.

Brenda Dilts

Project Opportunity Instructor

Brenda is originally from Omaha, NE and has traveled extensively throughout the US while serving in the Air Force. After a 24-year career Brenda retired from the Air Force in 2009 as a Senior Master Sergeant and entered private industry.
